Three Slugs made the long trek out to Wasdale and were rewarded with fantastic weather. Saturday dawned hot and dry. We all went climbing on Kern Knotts Crag, tackling some of the classic routes. Sunday looked threatening in the morning, so a walk over Lingmell was decided on. It actually rained a little but by the time we got to Styhead Tarn the sun was out again. A fantastic evening ensued, with gorgeous light everwhere and no-one about because they’d all been put off in the morning.
