Ken and Anne liaised with Sue and George at Gwern Gof Uchaf campsite on Friday night in glorious weather. Jes turned up Saturday morning and we all walked over the Carnedds in more fine weather, starting up the steep ridge of Pen Yr Olwen. A great day out. Saturday evening, while we enjoyed food and wine at the campsite, Kevin and John biked over Snowden, arriving back around midnight, after an exciting ride. On Sunday we walked over the Glyders and down The Devil’s Kitchen, playing on the cantilever stone, in atmospheric mist, on the way, and finishing off with ice cream and coffee at Ogwen. A great weekend with good weather and good company.
