Ably organized by Jes, everyone arrived more or less on-time and after a coffee, we set off. We lost Anne, Bill and Elen to the lure of the single track after about 15 mins. The rest of us continued on along nice tracks to the top of the forest.
Here those interested in more aesthetic biking sought out more nice tracks through majestic, mature trees, while others set off for bumps and thrills and the occasional tumble, on Follow the Dog and The Monkey trail.
The weather was great and we all enjoyed the forest and the biking.
After ending up as three different groups we all reassembled at the café for a last drink before it got dark and we had to set off home.
