SLUGS Weekend in Borrowdale. December 2010
| Six slugs gathered in Borrowdale on Friday night. While we slept it snowed. So on Saturday we were blessed with fresh snow. We all set off for Glaramara and on the way found an icy gully to climb. Eventually we reached the summit all we needed to do was find the way down. |

| Sunday was still snowy but also sunny. Being slugs we couldn’t resist a look down a mine. We took the group photo just below Dale Head. The walk continued over High Spy and Maiden Moor before returning to the hut for a convivial evening meal. |
