It’s a long way to Aviemore on a Friday night after work but this year it was certainly worth it. Wall to wall sunshine.
Saturday, John, Ken and Anne climbed to the Cairngorm plateau and then descended Coire Raibert to the
magnificent Loch Avon. Beyond lay the summit of Beinn Mheadhoin a superb viewpoint right in the heart
of the Cairngorm massif. Back to Loch Avon and an ascent of Cairn Gorm to end the day. Phil and Rosie
went to Glen Feshie and climbed Sgor Gaoith. Sunday Phil and Rosie braved Ben Macdui, while Anne,
Ken and John sunbathed on Sgairneach Mhor.
